Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Electrical engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. However, in now a day’s electrical engineering is considered as the branch of engineering that deals primarily with power generation and distribution, motors, electrical control systems, and generally large scale, high power systems . Electronic Engineering deals primarily with the flow of current in semiconductor devices/components, processing and transmission of analog and digital information, which are usually low power systems .

Difference between Science, Engineering and Technology

Science is the reasoned investigation or study of phenomena, aimed at discovering enduring principles among elements of the phenomenal world by employing formal techniques such as the scientific method . Engineering is the goal-oriented process of designing and making tools and systems to exploit natural phenomena for practical human means, often (but not always) using results and techniques from science. Technology is often a consequence of science and engineering My words: Science is knowing or acquisition of knowledge Engineering  is application of knowledge Technology is utilizing processes and products made via engineering

Technology

Technology definition: Technology is the making, modification, usage, and knowledge of tools , machines , techniques, crafts , systems , and methods of organization, in order to solve a problem, improve a pre-existing solution to a problem, achieve a goal, handle an applied input/output relation or perform a specific function. -Source: Wikipedia My words: 1.        Technology is a Greek word with meanings of "art, skill and cunning of hand" 2.        Technology is often a consequence of science and engineering 3.        Technology can be viewed as an activity that forms or changes culture

Engineering

Engineering is defined as: 1. "The creative application of scientific principles to design or develop structures, machines, apparatus, or manufacturing processes, or works utilizing them singly or in combination; or to construct or operate the same with full cognizance of their design; or to forecast their behavior under specific operating conditions; all as respects an intended function, economics of operation or safety to life and property."   -American Engineers' Council for Professional Development (ECPD)  2. The branch of science and technology concerned with the design, building, and use of engines, machines, and structures. -Oxford Dictionaries My words: 1.        The word engineer comes from Latin words meaning ' devise ' and ' cleverness ' 2.        Need is the basic quality to become an engineer. 3.        Engineering is the branch which deals with the principles of science that make life more comfortable, easy and se
