Kirchhoff’s Laws

Kirchhoff’s Laws: 1.         Kirchhoff’s first law or current law (KCL): -           The algebraic sum of the current meeting at a point of electrical network is zero. -           Positive sign is taken for the current magnitude if it is flowing in to the node. -           Negative sign is taken for the current magnitude if it is flowing out of the node. -           At a node, ∑ i=0 . 2.        Kirchhoff’s second law or voltage law (KVL): -           In any electrical network, the algebraic sum of all branch voltages around any closed path or loop is always zero. -           Around any closed path or loop, At a node, ∑ V=0 .
